Nel Lenhart was raised by the kind of architect that oozed architecture out of his pores. She managed to acquire at least some of his artistic abilities, and has sketched, and painted in her free time her entire life. Yet, she was a little too practical when deciding on a career path, to go with fine art.
Nel started off in the interior design department in design school but ended up in the architecture department. She started her career in an Interior Design firm in San Francisco, then moved back to Denver to work for her father at OZ Architecture. About 22 years ago she decided she liked to work on smaller projects in a more hands on and personal way, so she opened her own firm, Sparrow Architecture.
